The meeting was scheduled to be held in early July but was moved to Thursday after the referendum result was known. It was attended by members of the PM’s 19-person business advisory group, including Carolyn McCall, chief executive of EasyJet, Paul Walsh, chairman of Compass Group, as well as chancellor George Osborne, and Mr Javid.
